Position VacantInvestment Banking (Debt Syndication & Project Finance)
Job Description / ResponsibilitiesShould be able to handle/ supervise Syndication, Project Finance Advisory, Refinancing, Financial Appraisal, Project Appraisal, Due Diligence Mandates independently from formulation of a proposal till the credit approval of the same and documentation.  
Would be responsible for Business development, origination, client relationship. Should be able to ideate, innovate, strategize to source business. Should be able to guide the team for origination and winning pitches & mandates across various industries.  
Should ensure successful completion of the assignment within timelines. Should have effective co-ordination with clients and Banks, FIs, NBFCs.   Should have excellent knowledge of preparation and review of financial model.   Should have excellent understanding of Financial Statements with ability to analyze balance sheet and to provide solutions to clients.  
Thorough analysis of financial statements for risk assessment from lending perspective, Evaluation of business model and other aspects for credit facilities, Preparation of CMA data/ projections and project reports/ IMs.   Should have excellent relationship with Banks, FIs, NBFCs at various levels. Should have excellent experience in liaising with Banks, FIs, NBFCs.  
Should have excellent understating of Bank functioning, Bank products, Bank policies especially relating to lending, credit facilities etc.   Thorough knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to banks, NBFCs, FIs for loans, credit, ECB, provisioning etc.   Preparation of detailed proposals to banks/financial institutes as per prescribed formats.  
To handle the entire gamut of pre and post sanction activities including project evaluation/appraisal, preparation of term sheets/legal documents and negotiation thereof with the clients, assistance in security creation until the loan disbursement stage.   To keep self and the team informed on the relevant regulatory, legal and compliance guidelines.   Interact with clients to coordinate for requirement assimilation and data collection for completion of various reports to be submitted to financial institutions/banks
   Making presentations to Banks, handle queries from banks/financial institutions to facilitate sanction of credit facilities, negotiation of term sheets with Banks, NBFC, FIs.   Follow up with bank officials to ensure compliance and completion of various processes till sanction and disbursement of facilities.   Coordination with stakeholders in parent Bank.
Job specific skillsApplicants should have –   At least 2-12 years (depending on position being applied/ considered) of relevant experience in Syndication, corporate finance, Project Finance Advisory, Refinancing, Financial Appraisal, Project Appraisal, Due Diligence, debt refinancing, credit appraisal, credit research, project appraisal.Ability to stretch oneself and work under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Relevant experience across domestic loans, ECBs, credit facilities – fund based/ non fund based.
A deep understanding of corporate credit, project finance, working capital, banks working style, banks structure and with ability to structure deals is essential.Strong analytical and strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills.Excellent relationship with Banks/ FIs/ NBFCs at various levels.Updated knowledge of RBI Regulations.Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Innovation and creativityLeadership and team building
Educational Qualification/ Soft SkillsCA / MBA / CFA   Excellent communication skills, both oral and written   Comfortable with people engagement and strong persuasive skills   Analytical bent of mind with good time management, planning and coordination skills
Minimum ExperienceCandidate should have a work experience of 2-12 years (depending on position being applied/ considered) in Financial Advisory Firms/Financial Institutions / Rating agencies/ Banks.   Should have handled mandates relating to debt syndication, corporate finance/ Project finance advisory, Refinancing, Project Appraisals, Due Diligence, preparation/ review of Information Memorandums etc.   Should have been responsible for Business development, origination, client relationship.   Should have worked closely with banks, FIs, NBFCs.
CTCCompensation will not be limiting factor for the right candidate and will be decided on a case by case basis.
Location of postingMumbai The candidate may be deputed to work with the team(s) with the organization/ parent organization/ any subsidiary of the parent organization if and as deemed necessary.
