Applications are invited from serving or retired eligible candidates, belonging to various Ministries/ Departments of Government of India/ State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings for filling up the Group ‘A’ Gazetted (Combatised) posts given at para 3 below, in Border Security Force (Air Wing), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India as per the eligibility criteria of the BSF Air Wing officers (Group ‘A’ Combatised posts) Recruitment Rules 2011 and amendments thereafter, with Central Government Pay & Allowances, as admissible from time to time as per instructions, through any of the following methods of appointment For BSF Recruitment For Engineer:-

- The modalities of the recruitment will be as under:-

- Indian Air Force Officers joining BSF Air Wing on deputation will be under the administrative and functional control of DG BSF and will continue to be subject to the Air Force Act and Rules for disciplinary purpose as per the Agreed Terms & Conditions signed between MHA and MoD. They will continue to draw the pay & allowances as they are entitled and drawing in the IAF with deputation allowances as per Government of India’s Instructions. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS OF THE VACANT GROUP ‘A’ GAZETTED (COMBATISED) POSTS (PILOTS, ENGINEERS AND LOGISTIC OFFICERS) IN BSF AIR WING ON DEPUTATION, DEPUTATION CUM RE-EMPLOYMENT, RE-EMPLOYMENT AND SHORT TERM CONTRACT BASIS

DEPUTATION (INCLUDING SHORT TERM CONTRACT)/ABSORPTION Officers under the Central Government or the State Governments or the Public undertaking holding analogous posts or with two years’ regular service in the grade of Level 13 (Rs. 123100- 215900) in the pay matrix and with twenty years’ of Group ‘A’ service and possessing qualifications as specified below:- i) Holder of current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License in Category ‘A’ and ‘C’ or any two categories out of E, I & R with minimum five years’ experience on any two type of Aircraft or Helicopters (As prescribed from time to time as per requirement) operated by Border Security Force; or Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications or Aeronautical stream with minimum five years experience on any two type of Aircraft or Helicopters (As For BSF Recruitment For Engineerprescribed from time to time as per requirement) operated by Border Security Force; and (ii) Total Aircraft or Helicopter maintenance experience of twenty years (including fifteen years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer(As prescribed from time to time as per requirement). II. FOR EX-SERVICEMEN DEPUTATION/RE-EMPLOYMENT The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment. RE-EMPLOYMENT The retired Armed Forces personnel possessing qualifications and experience as specified for promotion and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union and the break in service should not be more than two years. Note-1: The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or department shall ordinarily not exceed three years. Note-2: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceeding fifty-six years on the date of receipt of application.
