ONLINE INTERVIEW FOR THE ‘,RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR,
RESEARCH FELLOW AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Applications are invited for online interview on 3rd August, 2020 for the following posts:
1) Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow (One post) for ICAR funded Niche Area of
Excellence (NAE) Programme sponsored project on “Development of Biochemical and
Physical Processing Technology to Arrest Oxidation of Lipids/Flavones to Enhance the
Shelf- Life of Pearl Millet Flour”
2) One Research Associate post for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)
sponsored project on “Sensors of Heat Stress: Exploring Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase
Genes and Dissecting their Role in Thermotolerance of Wheat (Triticum aestivtan L.)”. For IARI Recruitment for Research Associate
Under the present threat of COVID-19, it will be difficult to follow the standard procedure, as
followed earlier for the walk-in-interview. The application for the interview will be received from the
eligible candidates on the E-mail ID provided below, before 29th July, 2020. All applications will be
screened by the designated committee for their suitability and further, eligible candidate will be called
for online interview on 3rd August, 2020 through ZOOM app [the information regarding the time of
interview will be mailed to all the candidates]. Original documents will be verified during joining and

Age limit: Maximum 40 years for RA for men. For women/SC/ST/OBC and physically handicapped
candidate, an age relaxation of 5 years and maximum 35 years (age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5
years for SC/ST/ and women candidates as per the Govt. of India/ICAR rules) for Junior Research
Fellow.
Prior intimation will be given to eligible candidate for online interview on ZOOM app. The time slot for
interview will be allotted separately to each candidate after verifying the application. For IARI Recruitment for Research Associate
• No objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required, if working.
• Bio-data as per the format given in Annexure 1 should be submitted along with scanned attested
copies of 10th, 12th, Under-graduation, post-graduation, Ph.D., NET/GATE and other certificates
required. The application should have recent passport size photograph. The bio-data should
contain academic qualifications starting from 10th standard to the maximum qualification with %
marks obtained, distinction/medal if any. This is required for calculation of academic score. If
the candidates do not fill the marks and relevant attested certificates, the academic score will not
be awarded. Soft copy of application and scanned certificates should be forwarded on the E-mail for IARI Recruitment for Research Associate

• The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for an initial period
of one year or project duration whichever is earlier, which may be extended on yearly basis after
satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the scheme. There is no provision
of re-engagement after termination of scheme. Selected candidate shall not claim for regular
appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with respective scheme.
