Applications are invited for the following temporary positions for the research project entitled, “Ocean-Crust-Mantle Interaction: An elemental and isotopic study of the fluid-rock interaction in ocean floor and subduction zone” funded by, “MHRD-Scheme for Transformational and Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS)” For JRF and RA in pondicherry university 2020

Name of Post	Number of vacancy	Fellowship amount	Essential Qualification
Junior Research Fellow	2	₹ 31000 + 16% HRA	M.Sc. in Geology / Applied Geology / Earth Sciences, with NET / GATE/or any other equivalent national test. (Students appearing for their final semester exam or awaiting results can also apply)
Research Associate	1	₹ 47000 + 16% HRA	Ph.D. in Geology / Applied Geology/ Earth Sciences. Experience in mass spectrometer lab/clean chemistry lab is desirable.

All the posts are temporary and for a maximum period of three years or until the end of the project.

The fellowship amount for the JRF may be increased in the third year on successful upgradation to the position of the Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
