NOTICE FOR ENGAGEMENT OF TEACHERS ON CONTRACT BASIS GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (residential co-educational schools under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India), of Pune Region invite applications through E-MAIL ONLY BY 5 PM ON 11.09.2020 from eligible candidates for engagement as teachers, purely on contract basis in various subjects for the academic session 2020-202 1 only against existing vacancies in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas situated in the States / UTs of Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Daman, Din and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Since JNVs are residential in nature, it is mandatory for the teachers to reside in the Vidyalaya campus to attend residential school duties besides their routine duties. Boarding and Lodging may be provided as available at the JNV site, after the physical reopening of the vidyalaya for students.

No hard copy of the application will be accepted. A candidate applying for more than one post will have to apply separately for each post. Selected candidate can be posted to any of the JNVs in the region as per requirement of the Samiti.
While submitting the application by email, the candidate must mention the cluster name and the post applied for, in the subject of the email. For example, if the candidate is applying for the post of PGT(Economics) and he/ she wishes to appear for virtual interview at Sangli cluster centre JNV, the subject will be SANGLI CLUSTER — PGT(ECONOMICS). This is for sorting the email on subject and cluster basis and does not mean that the post of PGT(Economics) is vacant at JNV Sangli or its cluster JNVs. Candidates are advised to submit only one application for one post.
Eligible candidates will have to appear for a virtual interview for selection, as per date and time communicated on the website of NVS RO Pune on 14.09.2020. The virtual interviews will be held from 15’^ to 1 7 th September 2020 as per the schedule notified on the website. Candidate shall attend the virtual interview from the place of his convenience as per availability of good network on the stipulated platform at his own expense. No request for change of date or time or cluster centre of virtual interview will be entertained.
